Lauren C. Davies

linked-inMs. Davies joined Nedder and Associates in 2014 and brings to the firm broad experience in civil litigation, federal practice and arbitration. Lauren practices primarily in the areas of real estate, probate litigation, civil litigation, estate planning and estate administration. Her litigation experience is especially valuable in guiding fiduciaries and beneficiaries through complex trust and estate matters and in navigating the legal system when an institutional action is required.

Ms. Davies graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002 with a double major in Environmental Studies and the History and Sociology of Science with an honors concentration in Biomedical ethics. She received her J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2005 where she was research editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and contributed articles to the national reporter of the Sea Grant Law Center. Upon graduation from law school, she joined Tisdale Law Offices in Southport, CT practicing in the area of civil litigation and resolution of various maritime cases and arbitrations.

Ms. Davies is admitted to the state and federal courts of Connecticut and New York, the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and the state courts of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Fairfield County Bar Association, Darien Bar Association, Maritime Law Association of the United States, Connecticut Maritime Association and the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA). She sits on the non-profit board of the Connecticut Maritime Association Education Fund, a not for profit organization which works to promote and support maritime-related education through financial assistance, events and activities.

Ms. Davies resides in Fairfield, Connecticut with her husband Ben and their three children.
